With Passport.Travel, you can earn on almost everything. If you didn’t receive Passport Points as expected, or earned fewer than anticipated, keep reading to learn why this may happen and how to resolve it.
Check if the item category was eligible at the store you purchased from
Stores may apply different Passport Points rates based on item categories. If you didn’t receive the expected amount of Passport Points, check whether the store has a different rate for the item you purchased. You can find this information on the store page—simply search for the store on Passport.Travel and click its name on the left side of the results to view Passport Points Categories.
Did you use a coupon code from another site?
Using coupon codes that are not listed on Passport.Travel may void Passport Points. To be safe, stick to codes provided by Passport.Travel.
Did you cancel your order?
If you cancelled your order, it’s no longer eligible for Passport Points.
Did you make any returns?
If you returned all or part of your order, the store will let us know and we will adjust your Passport Points accordingly.
Avoid using other browser extensions and coupon sites
Going to other sites, especially ones that offer shopping rewards and coupons, can void Passport Points.
For the best experience, stick to a single browser tab when shopping through Passport.Travel
To ensure your purchase is properly linked to your Passport.Travel account, complete your order in the same tab that opened when you started your shopping session. If you finalize your purchase in a different tab or window, we may not be able to associate it with your account.
Re-activate Passport Points if you’ve been away from your computer
If your shopping session remains inactive for too long, your Passport Points may be deactivated. Additionally, make sure to activate your Passport Points before adding any items to your cart. Some stores may not allow us to link a purchase to your Passport Travel account if items were added to your cart before activating Passport Points.
Use the extension? Make sure you activated Passport Points
If you use our browser extension, activate Passport Points before you start shopping. If you don’t see the Activate Passport Points button, then that store may not be available for the extension. You can try activating Passport Points from Passport.Travel.
Some stores take longer to confirm your Passport Points
The time it takes for your Passport Points to be confirmed can vary depending on the store, their policies, reporting schedules, exclusions, and returns. For travel-related purchases, Passport Points will be added after your trip is completed.
